Job summary

Chartwells Higher Education Dining Services is hiring for full-time and part-time dishwasher positions at the University of North Carolina Asheville. Qualifications

• Prior dishwashing experience is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains dishes, pots, pans, trays, kitchen, work areas, equipment and utensils in orderly and sanitary condition.
• Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or uses dishwashing machine as assigned.
• Polishes silver using appropriate tools and ensures cleanliness and sanitation.
• Keeps dish area orderly and compliant with safety standards.
• Sweeps and mops kitchen floors to meet safety and sanitation standards.
