Qualified applicants have a Bachelor’s in Accounting or related field; II level requires two years of related experience. Proficiency in Excel and Word and knowledge of GAAP are essential; a CPA or Master’s is a plus.

• University Accountant I requires no experience; II requires two years of related experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word; strong communication skills; knowledge of GAAP.

Responsabilités

• Process payroll fund transfers and record entries in Banner.
• Prepare and review daily, monthly, and annual financial reports and reconciliations.
• Process airline billing and allocate charges within Banner.
• Audit and review travel documents for compliance.
• Advise departments on state laws and university policies and prepare management reports.
