Job summary

The advisor will support undergraduates, develop SEPs in Degree Works, oversee degree evaluations, and collaborate with faculty to ensure compliant, effective advising and timely graduation.

Responsibilities

• Provides comprehensive academic advising for undergraduate students to support retention and graduation.
• Oversees degree evaluations, check sheets, referrals, and other advising-related tasks from pre-enrollment through graduation.
• Informs students about opportunities, alternatives, limitations and consequences of academic decisions.
• Develops Student Educational Plans (SEPs) in Degree Works to meet graduation requirements.
• Serves as a liaison for colleges at orientations and recruitment events.
