Job summary

Freedom First in Roanoke, VA seeks a Universalist (Teller) to handle teller transactions, member service, and sales support. Based at Crossroads location, the role offers progression from teller duties to account opening, lending, and other financial services as training progresses.

You will deliver personalized solutions, educate members on products, and build trusted relationships while maintaining accuracy in daily cash handling and compliance.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years in banking, financial services, or customer service.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to motivate, influence, and educate members.
• Proficiency in computer and administrative support systems.
• Ability to read and interpret financial documents.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding service by assessing member needs and recommending financial solutions.
• Assist members with deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and inquiries.
• Balance a cash drawer and process daily transactions with accuracy.
• Support opening/closing procedures and branch balancing.
