Job summary

Hireology is seeking a compassionate caregiver to join our growing in-home care team in Van Buren, Arkansas. The right candidate provides hands-on support, medical reminders, and daily living assistance with a can-do attitude and friendly demeanor.

You will work one-on-one with clients, follow care plans, help with grooming, meals, mobility, and light housekeeping, and report any incidents promptly. Flexible schedules and weekend possible.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work nights and/or weekends.
• Willingness to enforce health and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly or recovering clients.
• Remind clients to take prescribed medication.
• Assist with mobility and accompany to appointments.
• Plan and prepare meals for daily living needs.
• Perform housekeeping duties and light errands.
• Report unusual incidents promptly and act responsibly.
• Offer activities essential for daily living and meals.

Hours 730am-330 pm M-F

Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries or accidents by attending to their basic needs, such as showering, bathing, dressing and eating
• Remindclients to take prescribed medication
• Help with mobility around the house or outside (doctor's appointments, walks etc.)
• Assist with personal care and hygiene
• Plan and prepare meals
• Complete client's shopping or accompany them to successfully do so
• Perform housekeeping duties
• Report any unusual incidents and act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
• Offer activities that areessential for daily living by assisting patients with their meals, including serving and other tasks, if necessary

Qualifications

• Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting, eager to improve and continuously learn new skills
• Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation every single day
• Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner
• Available to work different shifts, including nights and/or weekends
• Prior experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment (minimum of 1 year)
• Willingness to enforce health and safety standards
• Supportive and compassionate

• Take pride in providing high quality care
• Hoyer Lift Experience (specific to client)
