Job summary

Healthmark Services, Inc. in Malvern, AR is seeking a compassionate caregiver to join our growing team. The right candidate will provide many levels of support to clients in a one-on-one home setting, with a can-do attitude and friendly demeanor.

You will assist with personal care, mobility, meal planning, light housekeeping, transportation, and medication reminders. The role requires reliability, empathy, and flexibility to work varied shifts, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting and eager to improve
• Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Compassionate and supportive
• Available to work nights and/or weekends
• 1+ year experience in healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care
• Willingness to enforce health and safety standards

• Hoyer Lift experience (if required by client)

Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene assistance (bathing, dressing, feeding) for clients.
• Remind clients to take prescribed medications
• Assist with mobility and accompany to appointments
• Assist with personal care and hygiene
• Plan and prepare meals
• Complete shopping or accompany clients to shops
• Light housekeeping duties
• Report incidents and respond quickly in emergencies
• Assist with daily living activities and meals as needed

Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries or accidents by attending to their basic needs, such as showering, bathing, dressing and eating
• Remindclients to take prescribed medication
• Help with mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks etc.)
• Assist with personal care and hygiene
• Plan and prepare meals
• Complete client’s shopping or accompany them to successfully do so
• Perform housekeeping duties
• Report any unusual incidents and act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
• Offer activities that areessential for daily living by assisting patients with their meals, including serving and other tasks, if necessary

Qualifications

• Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting, eager to improve and continuously learn new skills
• Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation every single day
• Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner
• Available to work different shifts, including nights and/or weekends
• Prior experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment (minimum of 1 year)
