Universal Worker I (Nurse Aide) - Part Time - Assisted Living

Join us at Tabitha Health as a Universal Worker I (Nurse Aide) in our Assisted Living community. We are seeking compassionate individuals passionate about making a difference in the lives of older adults.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing assistance with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, toileting, transferring/ambulation, and continence.
• Supporting senior/client admissions, discharges, transfers, and orientation of new employees.
• Following department protocols for documentation and prioritizing assignments to meet the needs of seniors/clients and staff.
• Implementing care plans and safeguarding patient privacy in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
• Preparing and serving meals, assisting with housekeeping and laundry duties.
• If utilizing MA-40 certification: administering medications and treatments under RN supervision, evaluating emergencies, and performing CPR as trained.

Qualifications:

• Valid CNA and/or MA-40 certification.
• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English, including medical terminology.
• Physical ability to perform job duties, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Minimum age of 16 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Six months of experience as an aide or caregiver preferred.
• Willingness to obtain CNA certification within 6 months if not already certified; MA-40 certification preferred.
