Responsibilities

• Open all forms of deposit accounts, including IRA and HSA vehicles.
• Perform loan interviewing.
• Sell debt protection and cross-sell other credit union services.
• Gain proficiency with credit scoring and analysis.
• Learn to use Credit Guide Scoring System to evaluate loan applications.
• Counsel members on wise use of credit.
• Provide friendly, courteous teller and related services to members with balanced cash drawer daily.
• Perform all teller transactions.
• May train to and perform overrides for other associates as needed.
• Attend training at HQ or off-site location as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

This 40 hr/week position requires working weekday shifts and every other Saturday.

BRANCH HOURS

Monday through Thursday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM
Friday, 8:30 AM to 6 PM
Saturday, 9 AM to 1 PM

NATURE AND SCOPE

This position will report to the Branch Manager or Assistant Branch Manager and will overall beresponsible for actively promoting and selling Landmark Credit Union’s banking products and servicesand performing Teller duties. This position will be working with members on opening various accounts,completion and processing of loan applications, and basic member service duties such asCD redemptions, accepting wire instructions and performing all types of cash handling / tellertransactions.

REQUIREMENTS

• 1. High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2. Minimum of one-year previous teller experience within retail banking. Equivalent combinationof education and experience will be considered.
• 3. Demonstrated ability to refer or cross-sell products and/or prior sales experience preferred.
• 4. Prior knowledge or the ability to quickly learn banking products including their benefits andfeatures.
• 5. Must have experience or be able to gain proficiency in all programs and systems used for thisjob.
• 6. Excellent oral and written communication skills, problem solving skills, organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
• 7. Must develop a thorough understanding of company policies and procedures as they relate to this position. Must comply with all company policies and procedures and all job-related State and federal laws and regulations.
• 8. Ability to stand for long periods of time.
