Job summary

Farmers National Bank is seeking a customer-focused Teller to open, maintain and close accounts and process a variety of transactions in a fast-paced branch. You will generate referrals for new business opportunities and provide excellent service while supporting other tellers.

Responsibilities include balancing cash drawer, processing deposits and loan payments, promoting bank products, complying with policies, and assisting with training and sales referrals.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of one year retail banking experience to include cash handling.
• Previous supervisory and sales experience are highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Open, maintain, and close various types of bank accounts.
• Process teller transactions and balance cash drawer.
• Generate referrals for new business opportunities and assist tellers with sales and referral techniques.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain professional appearance and conduct.
• Assist customers with safe deposit box rentals and notary duties if credentialed.
• Comply with BSA/AML procedures and bank policies; participate in ongoing training.
