Job summary

Taunton Federal Credit Union seeks a Universal Banker to handle member transactions and account servicing while delivering prompt, knowledgeable service. The float position supports New Bedford and Acushnet branches, requiring flexibility to move between locations.

Ideal candidates have 2 years of cash handling experience, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to plan and organize, manage multiple tasks, and stay detail-oriented.

Qualifications

• 2 years of cash handling experience, preferably in a bank or credit union setting.
• High energy level, good interpersonal skills and ability to work independently and follow up on tasks.
• Ability to plan and organize, handle multiple priorities and stressful situations.
• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work branch hours as needed including Saturday.
• Bilingual English/Portuguese or English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process member transactions including check cashing, deposits and loan payments.
• Perform account servicing requests both in person and via telephone.
• Uncover member needs and provide member service such as opening accounts.
• Answer phones and conduct appropriate research to resolve member inquiries.
• Educate members on products and services that could benefit them.

Job Summary:

TFed is seeking a Universal Banker who is a proactive problem solver with strong interpersonal skills to provide exceptional service for our members. The Universal Banker is responsible for facilitating member transactions and account servicing and delivering prompt, knowledgeable service.

Flexibility is required as this role is a staff float to our New Bedford and Acushnet Branches.
