Job summary

Taunton Federal Credit Union is seeking a Universal Banker to deliver exceptional member service and support transactions and account servicing. You will be a proactive problem solver with strong interpersonal skills, handling daily cash handling and member inquiries.

This role requires the ability to open accounts, educate members on products, and work in person, with potential Saturday hours. Bilingual English/Portuguese or English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ cash handling experience preferably in a bank or credit union setting.
• High energy level, good interpersonal skills and ability to work independently.
• Ability to plan and organize, handle multiple priorities and stressful situations.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work branch hours as needed including Saturday.
• Bilingual English/Portuguese or English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process member transactions including check cashing, deposits and loan payments.
• Perform account servicing requests both in person and via telephone.
• Uncover member needs and provide member service services such as opening accounts.
• Answer phones and conduct appropriate research to resolve member inquiries.
• Educate members on products and services that could benefit them.
