Job summary

Taunton Federal Credit Union is seeking a Universal Banker for a North Float assignment servicing Middleborough and Taunton branches. The role emphasizes proactive problem solving and delivering prompt, knowledgeable service to members.

Responsibilities include processing transactions, opening accounts, handling inquiries by phone, and educating members on products. A 2-year cash handling background and bilingual ability are valued assets.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ cash handling experience preferably in a bank or credit union setting.
• High energy level, good interpersonal skills and ability to work independently and follow up on tasks.
• Ability to plan and organize, handle multiple priorities and stressful situations.
• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work branch hours including Saturday.
• Bilingual English/Portuguese or English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process member transactions including check cashing, deposits and loan payments.
• Perform account servicing requests both in person and via telephone.
• Uncover member needs and provide member service such as opening accounts.
• Answer phones and conduct research to resolve member inquiries.
• Educate members on products and services that could benefit them.
