Job summary

Old Second National Bank is seeking Universal Banker professionals to deliver frontline customer service and drive sales across Level 1–3 roles. This on-site position supports opening/maintaining accounts, cross-selling the bank's products, and performing teller duties as needed.

Responsibilities include meeting sales targets, maintaining regulatory compliance, and leveraging in-branch tools. On-site hours and licensing within 60 days are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (or equivalent) with 1+ year banking, cash handling, customer service or sales experience, or equivalent education.
• Must become licensed with NMLS within 60 days of starting.
• On-site work and branch hours (Mon–Fri 8:30am–5:30pm; Sat 8:30am–1:00pm).

Responsibilities

• Meet sales and service goals by engaging in branch sales processes and following up with customers by phone or email.
• Open, close, and maintain customer accounts per policies; reference training manuals.
• Advise customers on Old Second's products and services, including IRAs and loans.
• Provide high-level customer service to support best-in-class branch ratings.
• Fill in as a Teller to handle basic transactions when needed.
