Job summary

First Mutual Holding Company’s Universal Banker role centers on delivering exceptional front-line customer service and cross-selling at our Strongsville-area branches. The position supports three levels within the family with escalating responsibilities.

As a Level 1 banker you will operate teller windows, open basic accounts, and stay compliant with bank policies. Level 2 adds transaction approvals, vault management, and team support; Level 3 covers supervision and branch leadership duties.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of banking experience is required.
• Experience handling cash is required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in customer service is preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) or similar software is required. Cleartouch, Nautilus, various government and investor software/web portals is preferred. CRM is preferred.
• Driver's license is required (for float positions).

Responsibilities

• Operates Teller window; maintains acceptable outages; follows procedures for branch audits and escalates complex issues.
• Opens and closes basic accounts; cross-sells products and makes referrals; supports Level 2 with advanced openings and sales.
• Meets individual and branch sales goals; participates in training and stays up to date with systems and procedures.
• Performs basic opening/closing duties; assists with back-office tasks including reporting, ATM balancing, and deposits; adheres to safety rules.
• May float to other branches as needed; complies with banking laws and regulations.
