Job summary

Role Overview: This position involves providing comprehensive customer service and operational support in a banking environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily financial transactions including deposits, currency handling, and check cashing to ensure efficient teller support.
• Open and process new demand and deposit accounts, such as checking, savings, IRAs, certificates of deposit, and money market accounts.
• Identify client needs through consultative conversations, recommending suitable products and services.
• Cross-sell bank products, make referrals, and participate in campaigns to generate new business and deepen client relationships.
• Conduct outbound calls to clients and prospects, including during special campaigns, to promote bank offerings.
• Assist clients with loan applications and facilitate their processing, hand off applications appropriately.
• Research and resolve account issues, providing prompt, high-quality client experiences.
• Support daily operations, including audit controls, and assist management with training new associates.
• Maintain compliance with banking regulations, policies, risk management, and internal controls, staying informed on operational updates.

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma or GED; 1+ year experience as a Teller preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and basic computer/office equipment skills.
• Strong communication, client service, and problem-solving skills.
