Utah First Credit Union in Farmington is seeking a Universal Banker to guide members through their financial journeys. You’ll build relationships, help with accounts and loans, and explain options in clear terms while efficiently processing transactions.

The role requires a customer-focused mindset, cash handling comfort, and a collaborative team spirit, with a starting hourly pay of $20–$22 and full-time hours.

UNIVERSAL BANKER

As a Universal Banker, you like people (a lot). You're like the human equivalent of a deep breath. Whether you're calming a frustrated member, celebrating a first auto loan, explaining a credit score in plain terms, or asking about a pet, people leave conversations with you feeling better than before.

You're someone who: finds purpose in improving people's financial lives, is slow to judge and quick to problem-solve, explains things simply without talking down, is detail-oriented, organized, and trustworthy (the trifecta). We want Universal Bankers who bring energy to a team and makes work fun and stays cool as a cucumber under pressure.

THE DIFFERENCE YOU'LL MAKE

Around here, fewer handoffs make for better experiences - which is why we don't have tellers and loan officers. We have Financial Experts. Instead of bouncing members from desk to desk like a hot potato, you'll build relationships with and guide them through their entire financial journey. One conversation can turn into a deposit, a loan, a plan, or all three! As a full-time (40 hours per week) Financial Expert, your day-to-day might involve: helping people open accounts, navigate loans, and understand their options, processing financial transactions, handling cash, and keeping things moving.

The spot opportunities to educate and connect customers with products that can make their lives easier. They enjoy being the person in the room who makes finance feel less scary and jump in wherever they're needed, because that's what experts do!

WHAT YOU BRING

We seek universal bankers with a growth mindset, high school diploma or equivalent (18+), customer service experience (a banking background is a bonus), comfort handling cash and multitasking, a genuine interest in people and their stories, fun at parties (optional, but preferred!).

$20-$22/hour to start, with incentive potential.
