Job summary

Provident Credit Union in Dublin, CA is seeking a Universal Banker to drive new deposit and loan business while delivering exceptional member service. This full-time role combines sales, service, and branch operations with leadership responsibilities.

You will open new accounts, originate loans, participate in community outreach, and help the branch meet sales goals. A college degree or equivalent experience is preferred, with two years of sales and service experience and licenses required

Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent work experience.
• Two years of sales and service experience with proven results.
• Extensive knowledge of products and services offered through the Credit Union.
• Notary license or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
• NMLS certification must be completed within 90 days of hire.
• Excellent listening, speaking, presentation and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist new members in opening accounts (checking, savings, CD, money market) and other products.
• Promote and grow deposit and loan business to increase branch profitability.
• Conduct in-branch and community marketing to generate referrals and awareness.
• Prepare weekly personal sales/production reports for management.
• Ensure service standards and customer interactions meet quality expectations.
• Coordinate with branch manager and team to achieve sales goals.
