Job summary

DC Army National Guard seeks a Unit Supply Specialist to ensure Soldiers are supplied and equipped for missions. You will oversee shipping, storage, and supply of equipment, and maintain documentation and automated systems.

You will also secure weapons and ammo and schedule maintenance, including operating unit computers. Through your training, you will gain skills during Basic Training and Advanced Individual Training, earning a regular paycheck and qualifying for tuition assistance.

Qualifications

• Must enlist in the Army National Guard.
• Must be able to pass a physical exam and meet standards.
• Must meet citizenship requirements as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Issue and receive small arms; secure weapons and ammo in security areas.
• Schedule and perform preventive maintenance on weapons.
• Operate unit level computers.
