HCA Houston Healthcare Kingwood is seeking a Unit Secretary PRN to support patient flow, records, and communications on a busy unit. The role emphasizes welcoming patients and families with warmth while ensuring accuracy of orders and information sharing with the care team.

Ideal candidates will have BCLS, CIV within 60 days, and at least 1 year of relevant experience, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification.
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 60 days of employment start date.
• 1 year of hospital or clinical experience.

Responsabilités

• Greet and guide patients and visitors with warmth and professionalism while providing updates.
• Maintain accurate patient records, enter physician orders, and protect patient information.
• Facilitate clear communication between calls and care team members to keep the unit connected.
• Keep the environment clean, organized, and stocked to promote safety and comfort.
• Anticipate daily operational needs and support a culture of respect and teamwork.
