Job Summary: The Unit Secretary assists with the day-to-day operation of various clinical areas of the hospital. The incumbent retrieves and orders data from computer systems, maintains patient charts and records, and processes forms and paperwork for the unit. Facilitates the flow of information between physicians, nursing staff, and others concerning patient care, and performs other job-related duties as requested.
Specifications: High school graduate with some additional, specialized training preferred. Well-organized individual with excellent communication skills. Proficiency in the English language required.
