Job summary

Louisville Gardens in Louisville, OH, is seeking a Unit Manager (RN) to lead a designated nursing unit and ensure high-quality care. This full-time on-site role requires regulatory compliance, staff management, and collaboration with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.

The ideal candidate will hold an Ohio RN license with two years of supervisory experience in long-term care, strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills, and a solid understanding of skilled nursing

Qualifications

• Active Ohio RN license required.
• At least two years of supervisory experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred.
• Proven leadership and team-building abilities.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Working knowledge of skilled nursing regulations and standards of care.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support nursing staff (RNs, LPNs, CNAs) to maintain resident care standards.
• Coordinate and oversee resident care plans with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and Louisville Gardens policies.
• Manage staffing schedules to ensure coverage and continuity of care.
• Complete performance evaluations, provide coaching, and support staff development.
• Monitor clinical outcomes and initiate improvements when needed.
• Respond to resident and family concerns with professionalism and empathy.
• Participate in quality assurance, infection control, and safety programs.
• Assist with managing unit resources and maintaining cost-effective operations.

Position Summary
