Job summary

AristaCare Health Services is hiring a Unit Manager (RN) to oversee nursing care management for a defined patient population within a designated unit. The role ensures the nursing process is applied and regulatory standards are met, under the Nurse Practice Act.

The successful candidate will hold a New Jersey RN license, have at least one year of supervisory experience in a hospital, long-term care facility, or similar setting, and possess training in rehabilitative and restorative nursing

• Must possess a valid Registered Nurse license in the state of New Jersey.
• Minimum of one year of supervisory experience in a hospital, long-term care facility, or related health care facility.
• Must have training in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices.

Responsibilities

Unit Manager (RN)

is responsible for overseeing the care management of a population of patients within an assigned area, unit or clinical function. The position conducts the nursing process, assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation under the scope of the State's Nurse Practice Act of Registered Nurse licensure. The Unit Manager - RN coordinates resource utilization, timely and appropriate care interventions, and interdisciplinary communication to enhance patient and family satisfaction, adherence to center's clinical systems and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• Must possess, a valid Registered Nurse license in the state of New Jersey.
