Job summary

Paradigm Northwest in Houston, TX, seeks a Unit Manager LVN/RN to lead nursing services in a skilled nursing facility. You will supervise staff, support regulatory compliance, and ensure high-quality care for residents.

The ideal candidate has an active RN or LVN license, 3+ years in a nurse supervisory role in healthcare, and strong knowledge of reimbursement rules. Proficiency with Point Click Care and MS Office is preferred.

Qualifications

Must possess a current, unencumbered RN or LVN license to practice in the state.
3 years’ experience in a supervisor role in healthcare; long-term care experience preferred.
Knowledge of reimbursement regulations, nursing practices, and facility administration.

Responsibilities

Assist the Director of Nursing and nursing administration to supervise nursing staff and ensure quality care.
Provide in-services and staff development to meet quality and regulatory standards.
Identify safety concerns and take action to assure patient safety and compliance.
Attend rounds on nursing units to monitor performance and care quality.
Help ensure staffing levels align with resident needs and budgeted positions.
Support policy development and participate in audits and quality improvement activities.
