Job summary

Northridge Health & Rehabilitation is seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our leadership team as a Unit Manager. You will oversee the daily clinical operations of your assigned nursing unit, mentoring staff and ensuring exceptional resident care in a collaborative, supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Current RN or LPN license in good standing.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise day-to-day operations of your nursing unit.
• Coach, mentor, and support RNs, LPNs, and CNAs.
• Conduct clinical rounds and monitor resident care.
• Ensure individualized care plans are implemented and updated.
• Promote a positive, team-oriented work environment.
• Maintain compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations.
• Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and resident care coordination.
• Provide leadership support in the absence of the Director of Nursing.
