Job summary

Panorama's Convalescent & Rehabilitation Center is hiring an RN Unit Manager for Restorative and Wound Care to lead the restorative program for residents. The role requires collaboration with the Director of Nursing to ensure top-tier care and successful wound care coordination with United Wound Healing.

Ideal candidates will have an unencumbered WA RN license, long-term care experience, supervisory background, and a wound care certification or relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Must possess an unencumbered Washington Registered Nurse license.
• Long Term Care experience required; restorative nursing preferred.
• Experience supervising others required.
• Preferred wound care certification or experience managing wounds.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and monitor the restorative program for all residents.
• Develop individualized care plans from therapy recommendations and functional assessments.
• Manage rosters for ambulation, ROM, ADLs, splinting, and bladder retraining.
• Oversee documentation systems, flow sheets, and monthly progress evaluations.
• Coordinate procurement of adaptive equipment and assistive devices.
• Supervise Restorative CNA staff and collaborate with nurses, therapy, and dietary teams.
• Observe and assist residents with eating, swallowing, and use of adaptive equipment.
• Apply and monitor splints, braces, and positioning devices as ordered.
• Oversee restorative dressing and grooming to promote independence.
• Perform restorative ambulation, transfers, and ROM exercises.
• Serve as facility Wound Care Nurse and liaison with United Wound Healing to coordinate plans.
