Qualifications

• Current RN or LPN license in New Jersey.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory or unit management experience in skilled nursing or long-term care.
• Strong clinical assessment, organizational, and leadership skills.
• In-depth knowledge of state and federal regulations governing long-term care.
• Compassionate, resident-focused, and team-oriented demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all nursing activities on the assigned unit.
• Ensure that residents receive quality, person-centered care in accordance with policies and regulations.
• Monitor and evaluate staff performance, providing coaching, education, and support.
• Participate in care plan meetings and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members.
• Oversee documentation, medication administration, and compliance with infection control standards.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transitions of care as needed.
• Promote teamwork and effective communication among staff, residents, and families.
