Job summary

Complete Care is seeking an experienced RN Unit Manager to lead a skilled nursing unit, oversee daily clinical operations, and ensure high-quality resident care. This role requires strong leadership, regulatory knowledge, and collaborative teamwork with the interdisciplinary staff.

You will guide nursing staff, participate in care planning, and ensure documentation and medications are managed per standards. A valid NJ RN license and SNF experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered New Jersey RN license.
• Strong SNF or long-term care experience required.
• Previous RN Unit Manager or similar leadership experience preferred.
• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills.
• Proven ability to lead, coach, and support nursing staff.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations governing skilled nursing facilities.
• Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with the DON, ADON, physicians, residents, families, and the interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily clinical operations of the assigned skilled nursing unit.
• Provide leadership, direction, and support to nursing staff.
• Monitor resident care and ensure services meet established standards.
• Conduct regular nursing rounds and follow up on resident needs.
• Review clinical documentation for accuracy and timeliness.
• Monitor medication administration, treatments, and assessments.
• Assist with staff education, training, and performance management.
• Ensure compliance with regulations.
• Participate in care planning and interdisciplinary meetings.
• Communicate effectively with residents and families.
