Job summary

McCormick Post Acute in McCormick, SC, is seeking a Unit Manager (RN or LPN) to lead a growing nursing team on the assigned unit. You will mentor staff, drive resident-centered care, and ensure regulatory compliance in a fast-paced skilled nursing environment.

Applicants must hold an active RN or LPN license, have prior Unit Manager or long-term care leadership experience, and demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Current RN or LPN license in good standing.
• MUST have prior Unit Manager and/or long-term care/skilled nursing leadership experience.
• This is not an entry-level leadership position.
• Strong knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid regulations and survey readiness.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Passion for delivering exceptional care and supporting your team.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily clinical operations of your assigned unit.
• Lead, mentor, and support nursing staff.
• Ensure the highest quality of resident care.
• Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Complete and oversee clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapy, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Communicate effectively with residents and families.
• Promote a culture of teamwork, accountability, and excellence.
