Holiday Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center is seeking a Unit Manager to lead nursing operations on an assigned unit and ensure comprehensive, person-centered resident care in a 170-bed sub-acute and long-term care setting.

The role requires an active Rhode Island RN or LPN license, BLS CPR, and at least five years of nursing experience with two years in supervision. This is a full-time on-site position with a 7-3 schedule and a strong culture of passion, respect, and excellence.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered license to practice as an LPN or RN in Rhode Island.
• BLS Certification (CPR) required.
• Nursing degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
• Minimum of five (5) years of nursing experience.
• Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience in nursing/hcare setting.

Responsabilités

• Assume full responsibility and accountability for resident care on the assigned nursing unit.
• Oversee and coordinate resident care to promote the highest possible level of functioning.
• Ensure timely incident reporting with follow-up to the Administrator and Director of Nursing.
• Participate in facility committees and programs as directed by the DON.
• Assist in development, implementation, and evaluation of policies and procedures.
• Provide clinical leadership, guidance, and support to nursing staff on the unit.
• Monitor compliance with care plans, regulations, and quality standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support resident-centered care.

Salary: $79k-$125k annually

Responsibilities for Unit Manager:

• Assume full responsibility and accountability for resident care on the assigned nursing unit.

• Oversee and coordinate resident care to promote the highest possible level of physical, mental, and psychosocial functioning.

• Ensure timely and accurate incident reporting, with appropriate follow-up and communication to the Administrator and the Director of Nursing.

• Participate in facility committees and programs as directed by the Director of Nursing.

• Assist in the development, implementation, and evaluation of policies and procedures based on identified clinical and operational needs.

• Provide clinical leadership, guidance, and support to nursing staff on the unit.

• Monitor compliance with care plans, regulations, and quality standards to ensure optimal resident outcomes.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support resident-centered care and continuous improvement.

Qualifications for Unit Manager:

• Must possess a current, unencumbered active license to practice as an LPN or RN in the state of Rhode Island.

• Valid BLS Certification (CPR) required.

• A nursing degree from an accredited college or university is preferred.

• Minimum of five (5) years of nursing experience required.

• Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience in a nursing care center, hospital, or other healthcare setting required.
