Job summary

Highland Park Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking a Unit Manager to lead nursing operations on an assigned unit. The role emphasizes resident-centered care with strong clinical leadership and accountability.

The ideal candidate will hold an MA RN license, have at least 5 years of nursing experience and 2 years of supervisory experience, and be CPR/BLS certified. This is a full-time, day-shift position offering a competitive hourly rate.

Qualifications

  • Must possess a current, unencumbered active license to practice as an RN in Massachusetts.
  • Valid BLS Certification (CPR) required.
  • A nursing degree from an accredited college or university is preferred.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of nursing experience required.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience in a nursing care center, hospital, or other healthcare setting required.

Responsibilities

  • Assume full responsibility and accountability for resident care on the assigned nursing unit.
  • Oversee and coordinate resident care to promote the highest possible level of physical, mental, and psychosocial functioning.
  • Ensure timely and accurate incident reporting, with appropriate follow-up and communication to the Administrator and the Director of Nursing.
  • Participate in facility committees and programs as directed by the Director of Nursing.
  • Assist in the development, implementation, and evaluation of policies and procedures based on identified clinical and operational needs.
  • Provide clinical leadership, guidance, and support to nursing staff on the unit.
  • Monitor compliance with care plans, regulations, and quality standards to ensure optimal resident outcomes.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support resident-centered care and continuous improvement.

Sign-on Bonuses $12,000

Pay Range $50-$60 PER HOUR!
