Job summary

Holiday Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center is seeking an RN Supervisor for a 3 PM - 11 PM shift. This full-time role leads daily nursing operations, ensures regulatory compliance, and supports a compassionate, resident-centered care environment.

The ideal candidate holds an active Rhode Island RN license, BLS CPR certification, and at least two years of nursing experience. Training is provided; join a team dedicated to Passion, Respect, and Excellence.

Qualifications

• Current, active RN license in Rhode Island.
• Valid BLS Certification (CPR).
• Ability to manage care for multiple patients in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Minimum of 2+ years of nursing experience.
• No previous supervisory experience required; training will be provided.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with staff, residents, families, visitors, and regulatory agencies.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate nursing care activities to ensure residents receive safe, effective, and timely care.
• Provide clinical oversight and support to nursing staff during assigned shifts.
• Monitor resident conditions and ensure appropriate interventions are implemented and documented.
• Ensure compliance with physician orders, care plans, and facility policies and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, residents, and family members regarding changes in condition or care needs.
• Assist in managing multiple residents and prioritize care based on clinical urgency.
• Support adherence to all applicable nursing regulations, safety standards, and facility guidelines.
• Promote a positive work environment through teamwork, communication, and professional leadership.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with staff, residents, families, visitors, and regulatory agencies.

• Strong knowledge of nursing practices, procedures, and applicable laws, regulations, and standards in nursing care centers.
