Unit Manager - RN / LPN

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of clinical operations, supervise nursing staff, and monitor patient care.
  • Supervise staff including charge nurses, nurse aides, and other clinical support personnel.
  • Coordinate nursing team members during shifts.
  • Schedule and allocate staff based on availability and staffing needs.
  • Ensure shift coverage and support patient care and treatment as needed.
  • Provide supervision and guidance to clinical care team members.
  • Diagnose and develop patient treatment plans.
  • Monitor and report patient symptoms or behavioral changes.
  • Communicate with physicians or specialists regarding patient care.
  • Educate patients on health maintenance and disease prevention.
  • Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and facilities.
  • Maintain accurate patient medical records.

Qualifications:

  • RN or LPN in good standing.
  • Familiarity with medical software and equipment.
  • Ability to build rapport with patients.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
