Job summary

Grove Park Healthcare Center is seeking a Unit Manager (RN/LPN) to lead our nursing team and ensure high-quality patient care. The role emphasizes staffing, rounds, medication administration, and adherence to standards in a supportive, community-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure staffing levels with CNA's, LPN's and/or RNs for each tour of duty to maintain quality care.
• Make rounds of the nursing service department to verify staff performance and report findings to the Director.
• Monitor medication passes and treatment schedules to ensure proper administration and schedule adherence.
• Review medication cards for accuracy and compliance with physician orders and stop orders.

Unit Manager, RN/LPNResponsibilities:

• Ensure that a sufficient number of CNA's, LPN's and/or registered nurses are available for your tour of duty to ensure that quality care is maintained.
• Make rounds of the nursing service department to ensure that all nursing service personnel are performing their work assignments in accordance with acceptable nursing standards. Report findings to the Director.
• Monitor medication passes and treatment schedules to ensure that medications are being administered as ordered and that treatments are provided as scheduled.
• Review medication cards for completeness of information, accuracy in the transcription of physician orders, and adherence to stop order policies.
