Dunbar Center Inc is seeking an experienced Unit Manager/Director - RN to oversee nursing care on an assigned unit and support the Director of Nursing in delivering high-quality, compliant patient care. You will supervise staff, coordinate interprofessional care, and strive for positive clinical outcomes and satisfaction for patients, residents, families, and employees.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing is required.

Responsibilities

Support the Director of Nursing with delivery of high quality care and positive outcomes.
Lead and direct nursing operations for an assigned unit to ensure patient/resident satisfaction.
Ensure care delivery aligns with mission, standards, and regulations.
Collaborate with staff, physicians, and therapists to optimize patient outcomes.
Manage HR in the unit, recruit and orient staff, monitor performance, and apply disciplinary actions when needed.
