Job summary

Genesiscareers is seeking a Unit Manager/Director - RN to support the Director of Nursing in delivering high-quality care on an assigned unit, driving positive clinical outcomes and satisfaction for patients, residents, families and teammates.

The role leads nursing operations, ensures compliance with standards and regulations, collaborates with physicians and rehabilitation therapy, and manages staffing and performance across the unit.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State Board is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct nursing and patient care for an assigned unit.
• Ensure care delivery aligns with mission, values, policies, and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with staff, physicians, rehab therapy and other professionals for best outcomes.
• Manage human resources in the unit, including staffing, performance, and disciplinary actions.
