This RN leadership role requires strong clinical skills, familiarity with long-term care, and the ability to use electronic medical records. You’ll guide care plans, support families, and contribute to QA activities while upholding regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse in good standing with the Texas Board of Nursing.
• Experience in long-term care is preferred but not required.
• Ability to multitask, communicate effectively, and manage staffing.

Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate systems that support quality resident care.
• Resolve resident care issues and family concerns professionally and promptly.
• Implement and evaluate nursing procedures aligned with unit programs.
• Make clinical nursing diagnoses and guide care plans accordingly.
• Perform nursing assessments to monitor resident health status.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on assessments.
• Educate residents and families on health conditions and care plans.
• Participate in quality assurance activities and ensure compliance.
• Maintain accurate documentation per company policy and regulations.
• Step in for general nursing duties during emergencies or staffing shortages.
• Use electronic medical records and demonstrate basic computer proficiency.

We’re seeking a dedicated Unit Manager to join our growing team! This leadership role is essential in supporting nursing operations and ensuring the highest quality of care for our residents. Reliability, trustworthiness, and consistency with attendance are crucial. You must be able to multitask, manage stress, and communicate effectively in a team-focused environment.

Must be a Registered Nurse recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing.
