Creative Solutions in Healthcare - East is seeking a Unit Manager to lead nursing operations and ensure high quality resident care. You will rely on your LVN/RN license, strong clinical skills, and calm leadership to support staff, coordinate care plans, and maintain documentation.

This full-time role requires teamwork, effective communication, and the ability to multitask under pressure in a long-term care setting.

Qualifications

• Must hold a LVN or RN license recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing.
• Strong clinical skills and passion for resident-centered care.
• Experience in long-term care is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate systems that support the delivery of quality resident care.
• Resolve resident care issues and family concerns in a professional, timely manner.
• Implement and evaluate nursing procedures aligned with unit programs.
• Make clinical nursing diagnoses and guide care plans accordingly.
• Perform nursing assessments to monitor resident health status.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on assessments.
• Educate residents and families on health conditions and care plans.
• Participate in quality assurance activities and ensure compliance.
• Maintain accurate documentation per company policy and regulations.
• Step in for general nursing duties in emergencies or during staffing shortages.
• Use electronic medical records and demonstrate basic computer proficiency.
