Job summary

Legacy Health and Rehabilitation is seeking a Unit Manager (RN) to oversee daily clinical operations of an assigned unit and supervise nursing staff. You will ensure residents receive person-centered care and that care plans are followed, updated, and communicated to the interdisciplinary team.

Reporting to the Director of Nursing, you will promote regulatory compliance, staff development, and positive resident outcomes while leading with professionalism and compassion in a full-time, on-site

Qualifications

• Current R.N. license by State required.
• At least two years of nursing experience.
• Long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred.
• Prior supervisory or leadership experience strongly preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and organizational skills.
• Ability to lead a team with professionalism and compassion.
• Excellent communication skills with staff, residents, and families.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day clinical care and operations of your assigned unit
• Supervise, guide, and support nurses and nursing assistants
• Ensure care plans are followed and updated appropriately
• Monitor resident conditions and communicate changes to physicians and families
• Participate in care plan meetings and interdisciplinary team collaboration
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company regulations
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers
• Support infection control practices and quality assurance initiatives
• Mentor and develop nursing staff to promote a strong clinical team

The Unit Manager (RN) is responsible for overseeing
