Responsibilities

1. Support the Director of Nursing in delivering high-quality care and achieving positive clinical outcomes, patient/resident, family, and employee satisfaction.
2. Lead, guide, and direct the operations, coordination, and delivery of nursing and patient/resident care within an assigned unit.
3. Ensure care delivery aligns with Genesis HealthCare's mission, vision, values, policies, and complies with standards, regulations, and licensing requirements.
4. Collaborate with staff, physicians, rehabilitation therapists, and other professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
5. Manage human resources in the unit, including staffing, recruiting, onboarding, performance assessments, and disciplinary actions.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, college, or university.
• Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing.
