Responsibilities

As a Unit Manager/Director - RN, within an assigned unit, you will support the Director of Nursing in delivering high-quality care, achieving positive clinical outcomes, and ensuring patient/resident, family, and employee satisfaction.

• Lead, guide, and direct the overall operations, coordination, and care of nursing and patients/residents for an assigned unit.
• Ensure care delivery aligns with Genesis HealthCare's mission, vision, values, policies, and complies with standards, regulations, and licensing requirements.
• Collaborate with staff, physicians, rehabilitation therapy, and other professionals to ensure optimal outcomes for patients.
• Manage human resources in the unit, including minimizing overtime and agency staffing, recruiting, orienting staff, assessing performance, and implementing disciplinary actions when necessary.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school, college, or university.
• Current RN licensure by the State Board of Nursing.

Salary Range

USD $89,000.00 - USD $90,000.00 per year.
