Responsibilities

1. Support the Director of Nursing in delivering high-quality care, achieving positive clinical outcomes, and ensuring patient/resident, family, and employee satisfaction within an assigned unit.
2. Lead and coordinate the operations and care delivery for the nursing unit, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and standards.
3. Ensure care delivery aligns with Genesis HealthCare's mission, vision, values, and regulatory requirements.
4. Collaborate with staff, physicians, rehabilitation therapists, and other professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
5. Manage human resources for the unit, including staffing, recruitment, orientation, performance assessments, and disciplinary actions.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school, college, or university.
• Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing.
