Responsibilities
  1. Join the nursing center management team as a Unit Manager - RN, responsible for delivering high-quality, cost-effective healthcare on your assigned nursing unit, achieving positive clinical outcomes, and ensuring patient, family, and employee satisfaction.
  2. Ensure care delivery aligns with Genesis HealthCare's mission, vision, values, policies, and complies with standards of practice, state, and federal regulations.
  3. Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to maintain adequate nursing coverage for safe care.
  4. Participate with the interdisciplinary team to develop, implement, and evaluate strategies to achieve patient goals and reduce rehospitalizations.
  5. Mentor and educate nurses, collaborate with physicians and medical professionals, and serve as a resource regarding service quality.
  6. Oversee medication management, ensuring supplies are adequate and medications are handled per policy.
  7. Provide direct patient care alongside other nurses to maintain clinical skills.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Associate Degree in Nursing with three (3) years of nursing experience.
  • Nursing Diploma with three (3) years of nursing experience.
  • BSN with two (2) years of nursing experience.
  • At least one year of nurse leadership experience.
  • Current licensure by the State Board of Examiners of Nurses in the state of employment.
  • Current BLS/CPR certification.

Restrictions apply based on collective bargaining agreements, applicable law, and factors such as pay classification, job grade, location, and length of service.

Salary Range

USD $42.00 - USD $48.00 per hour
