Job summary

Chandler Creek Post Acute in Greer, SC is seeking an experienced RN Unit Manager to lead our nursing team and ensure delivery of exceptional resident care. This leadership role partners with the Director of Nursing and interdisciplinary teams to oversee daily clinical operations and maintain regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted RN license in South Carolina.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current CPR certification.
• Leadership or management experience in skilled nursing/long-term care preferred.
• Experience with PointClickCare (PCC) preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to lead by example and foster a positive team culture.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, implement and direct the day-to-day operations of the nursing department.
• Oversee clinical care delivery within the unit.
• Supervise, mentor, and support nursing staff for quality resident care.
• Monitor resident conditions and ensure timely interventions.
• Participate in care planning meetings and interdisciplinary discussions.
• Ensure accurate clinical documentation and compliance with policies.
• Assist with staff scheduling, training, coaching and performance management.
• Support regulatory compliance and quality assurance initiatives.
• Serve as a resource for residents, families and staff regarding care concerns.
• Promote a positive work environment focused on teamwork and resident-centered care.

Position Summary

• Oversee clinical care delivery within the assigned unit
• Supervise, mentor, and support nursing staff to ensure quality resident care
• Monitor resident conditions and ensure timely interventions when neededParticipate in care planning meetings and interdisciplinary team discussions
