Job summary

Chandler Creek Post Acute in Greer, SC seeks an experienced RN Unit Manager to lead the nursing team and ensure high-quality resident care. This full-time role collaborates with the Director of Nursing and interdisciplinary teams to oversee daily clinical operations, staff development, and regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate will have an unrestricted SC RN license, CPR certification, and prior leadership experience in long-term care. PCC experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in South Carolina.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current CPR certification.
• Previous leadership or management experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred.
• Experience with PointClickCare (PCC) preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to lead by example and foster a positive team culture.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, implementing, and directing the day-to-day operations of the nursing department.
• Oversee clinical care delivery within the assigned unit.
• Supervise, mentor, and support nursing staff to ensure quality resident care.
• Monitor resident conditions and ensure timely interventions when needed.
• Participate in care planning meetings and interdisciplinary team discussions.
• Ensure accurate clinical documentation and compliance with facility policies.
• Assist with staff scheduling, training, coaching, and performance management.
• Support regulatory compliance and quality assurance initiatives.
• Serve as a resource for residents, families, and staff regarding care concerns.
• Promote a positive work environment focused on teamwork and resident-centered care.

Position Summary
