• Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 3 years’ related experience, or in lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 7 years’ higher education and/or work experience

Responsibilities

• Manage relationships of varying complexity, cultivating present and prospective clients as sources of new business
• Meet with clients to ensure quality of service and uncover opportunities for referrals
• Manage, coach and mentor Relationship Managers and other staff
• Ensure staff is compliant with internal and external policies
• Lead development and implementation of process improvements to increase service and profitability
• Partner with management to maintain administrative, operational and risk management support
• Participate in revenue generating efforts as assigned
• Develop and maintain key relationships related to revenue growth
• Collaborate to implement process improvements and enhanced risk strategies
• Exercise authority concerning staffing, performance, promotions and terminations
• Adhere to risk and regulatory standards and controls
• Design and maintain internal controls to mitigate risk
• Escalate risk-related issues to management
• Promote an environment that reflects the M&T Bank brand
• Maintain internal control standards and address audit findings
• Complete other related duties as assigned
