Job summary

Avantara Watertown, operated by Legacy Healthcare LLC, seeks a Unit Manager (RN preferred) to oversee a nursing unit in a skilled nursing setting. Eligibility includes an unencumbered SD RN or LPN license and CPR certification, with prior management experience in long-term care.

You will lead clinical staff, ensure high-quality resident care, uphold infection prevention practices, and support staff development while promoting an inclusive facility culture.

Qualifications

• Unencumbered SD RN or LPN license.
• CPR Certification.
• Three years experience as a nurse in skilled nursing or long term care preferred.
• Prior experience managing a nursing department or unit.

Responsibilities

• Manage all operations of the assigned unit and supervise clinical staff.
• Provide guidance and education to staff and uphold infection prevention practices.
• Ensure adequate staffing to meet residents' needs.
• Foster a positive and inclusive facility culture.
