Job summary

Rehabilitation Center of Belmond is seeking a Unit Manager, LPN to lead the unit and supervise clinical staff, ensuring residents receive a high standard of care.

Ideal candidates hold an Iowa LPN license with CPR certification, plus at least 2 years of LPN experience, with preferred prior nursing department management experience.

As an Unit Manager, LPN you are instrumental in managing operations of your assigned unit. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Rehabilitation Center of Belmond by assisting with supervising the activities of clinical staff on your assigned unit, providing guidance and education to clinical staff, assisting with instilling a positive and inclusive facility culture, ensuring established infection prevention practices are maintained, assisting with resident admissions and discharge, and ensuring adequate staffing for our resident’s needs. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they receive an unparalleled standard of care.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, an unencumbered State of Iowa Licensed Practical Nurse, LPN license, C.P.R. Certification, and two (2) years of L.PN experience. Prior experience managing a nursing department or unit and five (5) years of L.PN experience is preferable.
