Job summary

Emerson Hospital in Concord, MA is seeking a part-time Unit Coordinator for the Mother/Baby unit to oversee daily activity and provide clerical support to obstetrical staff.

You will interact with physicians, staff and patients, handle data entry, typing and telephone etiquette, and maintain confidentiality with a strong eye for organization. The 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. day shift requires excellent customer service.

Pay Range: $19.00 - $25.00 / Hourly

Shift: Day shift

Hours: 7am-3:30pm

Job Summary

Reporting to the Director of Obstetrical Nursing, responsible for overall unit activity and efficiency and providing secretarial/clerical support to the department. Interacts with physicians, staff, and pre-hospital personnel as well as patients and their family or significant others.

Minimum Qualifications

Education

• High school graduate required.
• Secretarial or business coursework preferred.
• Medical terminology coursework preferred.

Experience

• Previous secretarial experience with demonstrated computer and word processing skills required.
• Previous Meditech experience preferred.
