Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or two years of college in business, management, or allied health
• 1–2 years healthcare experience
• Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare environmental services
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Moderate analytical ability to support operational planning and policy development
• Familiarity with computer systems and software for inventory/environmental services

Responsibilities

• Distribute supplies and ensure cleanliness of common areas and department spaces
• Monitor and maintain a clean, organized patient care environment
• Coordinate and oversee work of assigned support personnel
• Assist in evaluating supply and equipment needs and monitor usage
• Support long- and short-term planning and operational decisions with the Nurse Manager
• Participate in performance management, training, and staffing decisions for support staff
• Collaborate with nursing, support services, and environmental services teams
• Ensure adherence to hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards
