Job summary

Brain Injury Network seeks a Unit Coordinator to support member activities within clubhouse work units, including kitchen, outreach, communications and wellness units. You will work alongside members to leverage strengths, resolve conflicts, and help members grow toward personal goals.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in social services, Rehabilitation Studies, Speech-language Pathology or related field
• Must demonstrate commitment to growth and BIN Core Values
• Experience in social sciences, community program development, hospital or rehabilitation settings
• Ability to manage member emergencies following safety protocols
• Proficiency in Google Suite and Canva
• Strong verbal and written communication for individuals and groups
• Current CPR and First Aid certification
• Reliable and punctual attendance
• Patient, compassionate and collaborative leadership qualities
• Ethical, innovative, dependable and organized

Responsibilities

• Develop goals and structured tasks for assigned work units
• Make tasks meaningful and accessible for members with diverse abilities
• Provide constructive feedback and recognize member contributions
• Ensure safe, healthy, and supportive work environments
• Assist with conflict resolution and coaching as needed
• Coordinate program events and guest presentations
• Manage unit budgets and resource use
• Maintain member records and ensure compliance with policies
• Obtain required food handler certificate (paid by BIN)
